Carrot Seed Preschool - where children can wonder, discover, imagine, construct, and learn through play.

We believe that the primary importance is the development of the whole child - socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
At Carrot Seed, we provide a wonderfully rich inclusive environment for children to play, explore, "live in the moment", and grow as independent and self-directed individuals.
Children need to run, jump and climb freely outdoors for healthy brain development. Our spacious playground provides this opportunity.
We believe that children must play in a diverse inside and outside setting. At Carrot Seed the children may play either in or outdoors at any given time during the program.
We support the child's right to learn through play.
Our program is child directed and teacher supported. We encourage children to make decisions independently, with our guidance and support.
In our inclusive environment there is a sense of acceptance and belonging for all.
Carrot Seed is emotionally, socially, and physically safe for all children. We promote a creative, imaginative, and cooperative environment.
We offer an unstructured art program where the child is the explorer and the creator. There are no right and wrong ways to use the art materials.
We are an open door school; you are welcome to drop in anytime to observe your child or our program.
